  • How to Use

    There is more than one way to use our Mumtaz Nihari Masala Spice Mix

    Here's an easy cooking tip

    1) Stir fry 7/8 Lamb or Mutton Shanks in 200g of oil for 5-7 minutes.

    2) Add 175 gram of Mumtaz Nihari Masala, add 3 litres of hot water and 2 or 3 Onions Diced. Bring to boil and then simmer for 3-4 hours.

    Add more water if Nihari is not tender.

    3) Get any Flour of your choice dissolve in one glass of water (preferably Corn Flour) mix well. Then gradually add to gravy stir well and cook on high flame for about 3-4 minutes until gravy becomes thick.

    4) Then simmer until the gravy is at the consistency you desire.

    5) Garnish with Fresh Coriander, Fresh Ginger Shreds, Green Chillis and a few slices of Lemon. Then enjoy the perfect Mumtaz Nihari at home.
