  • How to Use

    There is more than one way to use Mumtaz Karahi Meat Masala Spice Mix

     Here’s an easy cooking tip for 500g of meat.

    1. Heat 100ml cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 2 medium-sized, finely chopped onions, and fry until golden brown.
    2. Add 2 tablespoons of garlic & ginger paste, fry for 1 minute, then add 3-4 chopped tomatoes or 1 tin of tomatoes. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
    3. Add 500g meat on or off the bone into the pan along with 3 tablespoons of Mumtaz Karahi Meat Masala Spice Mix and add salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes, ensuring the spices are slightly cooked.
    4. Pour 250ml of water into the pan, mix well, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and simmer gently for 30-35 minutes. Stir occasionally until the oil rises and the meat is fully cooked. If needed, add more water during cooking, ensuring the meat is nice and tender.
    5. Once the meat is cooked and the desired consistency is reached, garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
    6. Serve hot with naan, chapati, or rice, and enjoy your perfect homemade Mumtaz Karahi Meat.

    Note: Adjust the spice level according to your preference by increasing or decreasing the amount of Mumtaz Karahi Meat Masala Spice Mix.
