  • How to Use

    There is more than one way to use our Kashmiri Basaar Mix
     Here’s an easy cooking tip:

    1. Heat 100ml of oil, add 2 medium-sized finely chopped onions and fry until golden brown.
    2. Add 2 tbsp garlic-ginger paste, and fry for 1 minute.
    3. Stir in 2 tbsp Mumtaz Kashmiri Basaar, mix with water, and fry briefly. Add 3-4 fresh chopped tomatoes, or a tomato tin and cook briefly.
    4. Add 1kg meat, chicken, or veggies, mix well. Pour 200ml water, add salt to taste. Bring to a boil, cover, simmer for 25-30 mins, stirring occasionally. Add more water if needed for red meat.
    5. When the sauce is at the consistency you desire and the oil has risen, garnish with fresh coriander. Enjoy your homemade Mumtaz curry!
